About Us

Quilt is a multimedia publication made to highlight exceptional people and the communities they represent.

We’re here to tell stories that matter. We want to introduce you to individuals and groups that will leave you feeling inspired.

You can expect a little bit of everything from us. Photography. Video. Written word. Creativity. Nothing is off the table -- we want to share these conversations in ways that they deserve to be shared.

We hope you’re ready. Join us as we weave together something incredible.

Allen Germino

Allen is a creative person whose main goal at Quilt is to ideate and drive the overall direction of the stories we're trying to tell.

You'll often find him coordinating shoots, behind and sometimes on camera, and giving his opinions on fonts that nobody asked for.

Outside of Quilt, Allen spends most of his time listening to music, being slightly above-average at video games, and is an avid enjoyer of wearing sweatpants.

Follow him on Twitter to find out about things that make him happy and the occasional meme with his only input being: "That's crazy."

Kaycee Jackson

Kaycee Jackson is a writer and sometimes editor at Quilt Magazine. He has previously written for niche news outlets like TheGamer and Comic Book Resources. Now, he’s using his skills to tell stories about people, communities, and some other topics he hopes you’ll find interesting.

On the off chance that he’s not working, you can probably catch him gaming, watching anime, or thinking about good food.

Check out his website for writing samples. You can also watch him struggle to take a decent photo on Instagram, and follow his Twitter for occasional thoughts on things like sandwiches and being mixed in America.

Deepayan Bose

Deepayan Bose is a visual artist at Quilt and in every waking moment of his existence. With skills in graphic/editorial design, photography, illustration, and videography, he’s here to make sure all the images here aren’t pixelated, fonts are cohesive, and the logo has adequate breathing room… And to highlight stories about communities or something.

You can see some of his work on the website below and catch more personal art on Instagram. He also has a Twitter where he puts his shower thoughts, mainly.
